A winter is incomplete without snow and ice. The First Ice and Snow Festival at Lingshan is coming!
Lingshan Natural Scenic Area is located in northwest of Mentougou in western Beijing, 122km away from the downtown, the scenic area has a peak with an altitude of 2,303m. As the highest peak in Beijing, it is called “the ridge of Beijing”. Because of a special altitude, a natural scenic area had been formed in an area of 25km2 around Lingshan Mountain, integrating fault mountains, folded mountains, peculiar peaks, and lush flowering plants.
The highlight of the festival falls on an open air ice slide at a length of nearly 600 meters, making it the longest ice slide in Beijing. Visitors can enjoy snow scenery and play the ice slide in the daytime and watch crystal ice lanterns at night. The scenic area also offers tourist-friendly management and services, enabling you to admire the natural landscape with a pleasant mind.
