The greenhouse exhibition area is the essence of the Beijing Botanical Garden. Cherry Valley
Beijing Botanic Garden not only boasts gorgeous plants, but also a host of attractions. Cherry Valley, located in the northwest of the Wofo Temple and sandwiched by two mountains, is warm in winter and cool in summer. In the early winter, the Cherry Valley becomes a fairyland where the shadows of trees are mottled under the sunshine and blue sky.

It is said that Cao Xueqin, China's great master in literature in the 18th century, liked this place in his late years, where he was inspired to write the masterpiece Dream of the Red Chamber, originally named The Story of the Stone, one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature.
