Located to the northeast of Shunyi District, Longwantun Section of Wucai Qianshan National Hiking Trail is a state-level hiking track. In autumn, this tree-lined track is in a mass of color, presenting a real sight to behold. With the ultimate natural beauty, it has wowed whoever travels here.

With a length of 80km including 60km of mainline and 20km of sideline, it stretches from eastern Shanlixinzhuang Village in the west to Dazigou (nearby Mulin Town) in the east. If you feel like a panorama of the range upon range of mountains, you are well advised to follow the travel route, namely Shanlixinzhuang Village - Baimaoyu - Yueming Gully - Yugou (Mushao Road) - Wutonggu. When you reach the mountain top, it is possible to imagine the grandeur described in a famous poem by Du Fu.

You will be smitten by the 360 degree of red-leaves-covered hills. All kinds of trees such as staghorn sumac, smoke tree, Shandong maple, ginkgo tree and Chinese ash are in all colors of the rainbow with the mountain range stretching for miles like a breathtaking flowing stream with splashes of colors.
