Beijing-Jiagedaqi Highway starts from Beijing and ends at Jiagedaqi, Heilongjiang Province, with a total length of 2,123km. You will pass by scenic spots including Yanqi Lake, Qinglong Gorge, Yunmeng Mountain, Jiayu County, Yougu Shentan Natural Scene Zone, Labagoumen, and Fengning Baishang Grassland.

Hongluo Temple

55km away from Beijing downtown, Hongluo Temple Scenic Area is situated in the southern foot of Hongluo Mountain, 5km north of Huairou District. Millions of bamboo trees and a large pine forest surround the temple, making for a secluded, quite, and picturesque landscape. In front of the Great Buddha’s Hall, a pair of ancient ginkgo trees grow magnificently, of which the east one is female featuring slimmer trunk and branches and the male one at the west was planted over 1,100 years ago with a height of more than 30m and a girth of over 7m.

Mutianyu Great Wall

Yanqi Lake

Labagou National Forest Park

Siting at the northernmost of Beijing, Labagou National Forest Park occupies an area of 11,171.5 hectares, with a forest coverage rate ranking first among all parks in the capital. It is not only home to Beijing’s largest Mongolian oak forest, birch forest, mountain forest, and other natural forests, but also to various colored-leaf trees including oak, purple birch, acer monoes, larch, and mountain elm.
