Dongjiang Bay Man-made Beach (Dongjiang Bay Golden Beach) is the first man-made beach in Tianjin Binhai New Area. With the blue sea water and golden sand, you can either sit on the soft beach to enjoy the sea breeze, or walk on the cobblestone belt with bare feet, collecting shells, eating barbecue, playing beach volleyball…Without going out of Tianjin, you can enjoy the fun of “blue ocean and golden sand”.

Dongjiang Bay Man-made Beach is located in a place in Tianjin where the coastline is closest to the outer sea and is also the place with the best water quality. The “Golden Sands” of the Dongjiang Bay Man-made Beach have an average thickness of 1.2 meters and extends from the shore to the seaside with a gentle slope. The “Golden Sands” used in the man-made beach were all shipped from Fujian province, with a consumption of nearly 200,000 tons. To ensure the safety of tourists, a cobblestone belt with a width of about 58 meters has been laid on the offshore side of the beach in the public recreation area. The pebbles were transported from Qinhuangdao. In addition, Tianjin Port has also built breakwaters in the nearby sea area to keep the beach clean and prevent floating objects from entering the man-made beach.

There is also a new tourist reception center in the scenic area, equipped with men’s and women’s bathrooms, which can allow 70-80 tourists for fresh water showers at one time. Twelve bathing spots have been built around the beach for tourists to take a simple shower. The beach is divided into special areas, which is convenient for tourists to set up their own tents. Tourists who like beach volleyball and beach football can also play sports at the corresponding venues. On the waterfront road, a new shopping street will be built in the future to provide catering, shopping and other services.
