Cuihu Wetland is located in Shangzhuang Township, Haidian District at the foot of West Mountain. It faces Daoxiang Lake Park in the west, and borders Shangzhuang Reservoir in the east, and municipal green belts lie in its north and south. The park has dug an ecological canal around the lake, transforming the 1,500 mu lowland on the north of Shangzhuang Reservoir into a wetland-featured ecological park. What’s more, it introduces wetland animals and plants to form the wetland landscape. It also facilitates rainwater collection as well as lake water purification.
