Donghugang is located in the Shiwudu, Shidu Park, Fangshan UNESCO Global Geopark, Beijing. It is adjacent to Yesanpo and is 106m from downtown Beijing. In the scenic area, green sandalwood forest and winding millennial ancient vines cover the whole canyon. The winding path zigzags up and stream poetically trickles nearby with a murmur. It is famous for the high waterfalls and ample pools, dubbed "secluded valleys, superposed waterfalls, sandalwood forests and oxygen bar". Besides, there are a dozen of attractions, including Couple Peak, Yuanyang Peak, Donghu Giant Buddha, Carved Stones and Gallery, Goddess Chang'e and Golden Cicada, and Kwan-yin Cave. It is a national 4A level scenic area.

The rope bridge leads to the scenic area, where green sandalwood forests and winding millennial ancient vines cover the whole canyon, creating an ancient and mysterious atmosphere. The fancy Three-fold Waterfall, featuring a drop height of 115m, falls directly from Nv'er Spring, with water mist flying in the wind and hanging on the cliff like a milky way. The plank road, better known as "The First Ladder of North China", is built along the cliff. Climbing up to the peak through plank road, tourists can have a panoramic view of mountain sceneries surrounding them. Among famous landscapes of Donghugang, Huiyinbi Waterfall boasts strong water flow and long fall like a sliver ribbon flying in the air and falling into the pool in the end. With abundant natural resources and a wide variety of animals and plants, it is full of vitality and fun.

On the banks of Juma River, the scenic district provides bamboo rafts, water two-wheeled vehicles, water walking balls, beach recreational activities, and special barbecue. There are also firework shows, bonfire parties and other entertainment activities, along with catering and accommodation facilities. It is a good destination of vacations and tourism.
