Haidilao Hotpot, famed for its considerate service, opens chain Maocai stores in Beijing. At the languished mall of Wangfujing in 88, the underground U-Ding store doesn’t house a great many of guests. Seats are specified for pairs or four people, catering to surrounding office workers.
The specialty in U-Ding is Sichuan Maocai, a kind of Chengdu snacks: cut vegetables and meat in advance, then put them into the spicy soup and wait for cook. Apart from spicy taste, three delicious soup and tomato soup are available for non-spicy diners. You can also find staple food here, such as Chuanbei Liangfen (Clear Noodles in Chili Sauce) and Sichuan Cold Noodles.

Most of the branch stores of U-Ding are scattered in Beijing's malls, such as in the Capitaland Mall in Gongzhufen, Aegean Shopping Mall in Xibahe, C.A.R.E City Shopping Center and BagouWanlian Mall. The average cost here is about 40 yuan.
