The third courtyard on the middle route of the Prince Kung’s Mansion  is the main building of palace, commonly known as Yinluan Hall or Silver Hall.

According to the architectural scale and structure, Yinluan Hall possesses the same status and function in the mansion as the Taihe Gall or Gold Hall in the Forbidden City. It’s frequently used for grand ceremonial events. In those years, the throne of Prince Kung was placed in the center of Yinluan Hall, with a screen of corresponding level in its rear. Moreover, “Conferment Brochures and Seals” including orders of installation or promotion and official seal are displayed in Yinluan Hall.
