After over three years of preparation, Starbucks opened its largest flagship store in Beijing which is also the largest one in the world except Shanghai Reserve Roastery! Covering 1040 square meters next to the famous front door Dashilan, it has three floors, and each floor is an independent space:the selection of coffee is at the first floor;the second floor of the tea space is also the new addition. There are also a variety of special cocktails and fine wines on the third floor. To pay tribute to the history of the "Dashilan", the exterior wall and inside decoration of this flagship store have adopted the wooden grille design.

Elements of Beijing Style in Starbucks

Beijing-style elements are everywhere in this flagship store. The huge paintings at the corner of the second staircase cleverly incorporate Starbucks into the Dashilan Streetscape. Looking closer, you will find that the gold part is hand-embroidered. The wall decoration of the first floor is a picture of the Hall of Supreme Harmony made up of coffee beans of different baking degrees. The second floor is decorated with an abstract Peking Opera mask. When you get closer, you will find that these colored dots that make up the face are tea bags that fit the tea theme of the floor. The color disc above the three-story sofa, based on the dome of the Temple of Heaven and added with a visual change of the kaleidoscope, is especially eye-catching.
