Yugong Yishan is a famous live house gathering music lovers from home and abroad.

In 2004, Yugong Yishan was opened near to Sanlitun Bar Street and the Workers’ Stadium which was originally a little live house. In 2007, it was moved to Zhangzizhong Road, a central district of Dongcheng District, thus having a larger space for better development. Since its inception, it has won the best scene music awards offered by many magazines like That’s Beijing, the Beijinger, and City Weekend.

Here, you can enjoy live performances brought by bands and musicians with strong lineup and diverse styles, coming from all parts of China and beyond. Many outstanding local and international bands have performed here. Each year, as many as 200-plus performances are offered here, with these of mainland accounting for 50%, and these of Hong Kong, Taiwan and overseas bands 50%.

The two-storey venue can accommodate around 500 people. It has terrace.

Performance style: here you can watch performances of a wide range of styles, such as rock, electronic music, folk music, reggae, and post-rock.
