Built in 809-1119 AD, Yanshou Temple is a Buddhist temple in Changping District, about 50km to Beijing. The route to the temple passes through the renowned Ming Tombs and extends to the Mutianyu Great Wall.
Yanshou Temple is surrounded by green mountains with beautiful scenery. The three-opening door leaves visitors a feeling of solemnity and grandeur yet no less of beauty and elegance. Upon entering the gate, you will be attracted by a giant Chinese character of "Buddha" built of white marble on the hills. Against the backdrop of the blue sky, it shines brilliantly.
