As a unique art category, manga (comics created in Japan or by creators in the Japanese language) is loved all over the world. The borderless world language was hailed as the "ninth art" by western artists and lifted to an unprecedented height. The Classical Anime and Manga Originals Exhibition kicked off at the Polar Bear Gallery on June 2 and will run until July 17. It will display 252 originals of 20 animations created by Osamu Tezuka, Fujiko F. Fujio, Masami Kurumada, Miyazaki Hayao, Eiichiro Oda, Aoyama Yoshimasa (Aoyama Goushiyou), Kishimoto Masashi, etc., as well as some personal manga manuscripts by Osamu Tezuka. The mangas exhibited represent different ages, commemorating the history of manga and animie from 1950s till now. Visitor can feel the real stories and the scenes of the artists creating them through viewing those yellowing masterpieces. The original works displayed can be divided into two categories: Celluloid mangas and Genga (original painings of manga).
