
Baiyu – Huangcaoliang – Qizuolou - Lingshan
This is a famous two-day hiking route with moderate level and intensity. You can take one of multiple routes ended in Lingshan to enjoy diverse landscapes from Baiyu to Lingshan.
Starting from a famous old folk culture village located on Jingxi Ancient Road, and going through Huangcaoliang, one of the largest alpine meadows in Beijing, and Qizuolou Great Wall, finally you will arrive at Lingshan, the highest mountain in Beijing.

Gubeikou - Jinshuiling - Simatai
This is a two-day hiking route with moderate to high intensity to visit the Great Wall. The Great Wall, connected closely and stretching across precipitous mountains, is a wonderful architecture with multiple defending functions. The section Gubeikou - Jinshuiling - Simatai is the best place to study the architectural art of the Great Wall.
Moving along the walls is just like going through history to experience the old times.

Yangtai Mountain - Miaofeng Mountain
This hiking route is derived from an ancient path across Yangtai Mountain Scenic Area created by a large number of people who came to Niangniang Temple on Miaofeng Mountain to burn incense for good luck. This route, across Haidian District and Mentougou District, is suitable for primary hikers for its low level and intensity.
The whole ancient path is about 32 Li (16 km), less than a half is flat with gentle upward slope. The path is full of the smell of grass. Rose Valley, the most romantic place on the road, leads you to Goujian Village down Miaofeng Mountain, one kilometer away from the peak of Miaofeng Mountain. It takes about five hours to go through this ancient path.
