As temperature rises in the early summer, water lilies began to blossom in in Beijing’s Lotus Pond Park. Beijing Lotus Pond Park, also known as Lianhuachi Park is located in the western part of Beijing, and covers an area of around 53.6 hectares.
The main part of the park is the Lotus Pond, which has become an attraction outside of Beijing since the Ming and Qing dynasties. It gradually became the place for royal family and noblemen to enjoy the nature.
