This year, the National Tourism Day falls on Saturday, when tourists will get discounts on admission of many scenic sports in Beijing.

Huairou District
Water Great Wall at Huanghuacheng
Water Great Wall at Huanghuacheng features three wonderful scenes: the first is the Great Wall built during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty; it winds around the mountain ridge and the Haoming Lake, making for an amazing picture. The second wonderful scene is that the lake divides the Great Wall and submerges some sections of the Wall. The third is the Chestnut Garden dating back to the Ming Dynasty, where old, deep-rooted trees intertwine each other underground and embrace each other in the air in different shapes.

Linghui Mountain

Shengquan Mountain Natural Scenic Area
The Shengquan Mountain Natural Scenic Area is 6km away from downtown Huairou. Covering an area of 15km2, it is next to the centuries-old Hongluo Temple in the east and faces the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall in the west. It sits in front of the majestic Yanshan Mountain and behind the beautiful Huaisha River. It incorporates natural and cultural landscape as well as Buddhist and historic culture. It is a holy place of Zen Buddhism.

Changping District
On May 19, the Tourism Development Commission of Changping District will hold 2018 “5.19 China Tourism Day” activity themed "Holistic Tourism, Wonderful Life" and "Holistic Tourism, Gone on Changping" toward tourism enterprises, young cadres and students. The activity will occupy Timeless China of Fun Capital Park as the main venue to hold art performances including dances, acrobatics and magic selected and played by native Changping tourism enterprises, presenting the charm of Changping tourism cultures to tourists.
In addition, activities will be held at other 6 national AAAA-level scenic spots, namely the Ming Tombs, the Juyongguan Great Wall, China Aviation Museum, Longmai Hotspring Village, Xiaotangshan Modern Agricultural Science Demonstration Park, and Wendu Water City.

Beijing Backyard Garden Scenic Area
Beijing Back Garden Scenic Area consists of 36 scenic spots and over 500 natural landscapes. Qipan (Chessboard) Mountain, Changping
Beijing Wayao Qipanshan Scenic Area is the main travel destination of the One-hundred-Mile Xifeng Ancient Road in Beijing Valley Economy. From an aerial photo, the top of the Qipan Mount is broad and flat, like a chessboard.
