Around the International Labor Day every year, the peonies in Peony Garden of the Mountain Resort in Chengde are in full blossom. Various flowers bursting into bloom with heavy fragrance make tourists reluctant to leave. Most of the peonies in resort are introduced from Luoyang. The florescence is about half a month and around one month later than that in Luoyang due to climate condition. Then, the paeonia lactiflora in Paeonia Lactiflora Garden, roses in Rose Garden and malus pallasiana in Trees Garden will blossom one after another.
