Changyucheng Trail

You can choose to step on the creaky plank road, listen to the sound of gentle wind caressing flowers and grass, feel the fallen petals touching your face, and take in the turquoise water of the reservoir. Turn your head and discover that distant mountains are standing quietly amid wreaths of clouds. Such scenery can be found in the Changyucheng Village, Changping District. Fenghuangling Trail

Fenghuangling is known for its lush mountains, turquoise water, white clouds against blue sky, layer upon layer of peaks and knolls, dense forests and winding trails, as well as exotic and rare plants blanketing the mountains. The pure and clean Arcadia is known as the “green lung” of the capital.

The 15-km Fenghuangling Trail offers views of natural and cultural attractions such as the “Sky Ladder”, “Divine Spring”, “Eight Immortals Cave”, “Curtain Waterfall” and “Stone Buddha in Northern Wei”, etc.

Baihua Mountain Hiking Trail

Aside from the scenery with wreathing clouds, peaks, knolls and waterscape, Baihua Mountain is most known for its spectacular physiographic resources.

In the reserve, some natural landscapes such as “Ancient Stone Sea”, “Ice Edge Castle” and “Ice Cliff Rock Pillar” are the evidences of geological transformations while others like the “Natural Great Wall”, “Mother-and-Son Stone”, “Mountain Shaking Stone----Assembled Peaks Scraping the Sky”, the “Hunchback Peak” and “Manjusri Figure” are highly aesthetic and valuable for research.

Shentangyu Hiking Trail

Like a wonderland, Shentangyu brings together mountains, rivers, grotesque peaks and boulders as well as the ancient Great Wall. It is far away from the hustle and bustle as well as the pollution of the urban area.

Today a 7558-m plank road has been built through the village, with diverse folk residences on both sides. You can jog on the plant road, breath the clean and fresh air and listen to the gurgling stream and the birds chirping, and take a rest in a local residence. It will definitely bring lots of fun!
