Mountain Flowers Season at Fragrant Hills
As spring progresses, the Fragrant Hills Park welcomes the best flower appreciation season. The Fragrant Hills Park owns the largest Persian buttercups planting area. Tens of thousands of colorful Persian buttercups bloom in many gardens, such as Zhisong Garden, Fenglincun (Maple Village) and Jiariyuan. In addition, over 50 thousand flowers like purple magnolia, lilac, plum blossom, flowering almond, red maple, forsythia, horned pansy, and heartsease also blossom one after another.

Beijing Pinggu International Peach Blossom Music Festival
The Pinggu International Peach Blossom Music Festival is a significant window for tourists to savor the culture, civilization and beauty of Beijing.
“Sea of Peach Blossom Tour by Bus through Beijing-Tianjing-Hebei”activity is offered from April 6 to May 6. During the period, one-day and two-day tours will be respectively launched in consideration of flowering phase and surrounding facilities of scenic spots. China Legu Music Carnival will be staged from 14:00 to 22:00, and will be designed with “Music Valley and “Young Pioneer” stages on the performance spot, the largest of its kind in Beijing.

1st Holland Mangshan Windmill Festival
The First Holland Mangshan Windmill Festival kicked off at Mangshan National Forest Park in Beijing on March 24. It will last until May 28. During the festival, a-hundred-meter colorful pinwheel corridor is offered to create a romantic atmosphere for lovers. At oil-paper umbrella artistic area, tourists can wear cheongsams and hold oil-paper umbrellas to take pictures (both cheongsams and umbrellas are provided for free). Children, together with their parents, can participate in the entertainment carnival and have fun in a variety of games.

6th Cole Flowers Festival at Beijing’s Fangshan
By virtue of perennial springs, Changgou Town creates itself into a “Watertown of South Beijing” leisure resort and a stunning and well-known historical and cultural tourism cluster in the capital.
From May to June, a sea of cole flowers in this town will be in its florescence, with the largest scale in the suburb of Beijing. With the variety dominated by spring rape, the cole flowersfield covers an area of 2,100mu, especially, a nearly 1,000mu plot being in the shape of square. This town has long been reputed as “Watertown of South Beijing”, a patchwork of cole flowersfield, lotus pond and paddy. In July, a sea of lotuses is joggling on the rippling Longquan Lake, and is honored as one of the most representative sceneries in Beijing.
