BOTANICA is a botanical place, with plants all over the place: on the floor, tables and even hanging from the ceiling. If you are all by yourself in the 798 Art Zone, this one is recommended. It is not easy to find though, tucked away on the side of the Dashanzi Market. Small but delicately decorated, with murals and artworks on the tables, the place shows the owner’s taste.

The minced pork rice set meal includes rice, braised pork, two refreshing dishes and braised eggs. The braised pork must be specially made as it is very yummy. Neither strong nor greasy, it goes well with the other two dishes. Lo mein with diced rabbit meat is particularly delicious and chewy. The diced rabbit meat is placed on a separate dish so that customers can decide how much to add to the lo mein. Noodles can be refilled for free.
