Beijing Happy Valley
Beijing’s Happy Valley has experience programs including more than 40 entertainment facilities, 50 ecological and humanistic landscapes, over 10 art performances and 20 themed games and business-assisted programs, meeting the demands of different groups of people.
It consists of 6 themed zones including Fjords & Forests, Atlantis, the Lost Maya, Aegean Port, Shangri-la and Kingdom of Ants. Altogether there are 120 programs. Happy Valley has a large area. There are many people waiting for thrilling programs such as Roller Coaster and Turbo Drop. You’d better go there in the morning; otherwise you need to queue for 1-2 hours for each program.
Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park
Shijingshan Amusement Park is the most famous old-brand amusement park featuring a European architectural style. Located on the outside of Fifth Ring Road in west Beijing, it is 15 kilometers away from Tian’anmen Square, and takes up an area of approximately 350,000 m2. The park has a rather profound brand culture accumulation, and is a household name for entertainment and recreation in Beijing.
With Cinderella’s castle from Grimm's Fairy Tales as its center, the beautiful Cinderella statue stands in the artificial lake in front of the castle. The ancient European castles, statue of a maid, integrated with surrounding statues of Pinocchio, Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse, forming a fantastic world filled with colorful fairy tales. There are more than 50 medium and large modernized amusement programs in the park.
Beijing Water Cube Water Park
Built in the National Aquatics Center, the Water Park is the biggest one of its kind in China, and the most advanced one in the world, boasting several water amusement facilities that make their debut worldwide. The park has established ten major water amusement programs, and altogether 20 slides of different types provide tourists with perfect experience of the thrilling, exiting and hilarious of water entertainment. Under the blue, transparent air bubble film of the Water Cube, there float the colorful corals, transparent and beautiful jellyfish, green sea plants, fishes with strange shapes, matching with dreamlike lighting and background music, creating a dreamlike fairy tale world under the ocean, making the whole park be filled with jubilant “water elements”.
