The Huangbizhuang Reservoir, located on the trunk stream of the Hutuo River near the Huangbizhuang Village, Luquan District, is a large water conservancy project, built mainly for flood prevention while given additional consideration to multiple purposes including urban water consumption, irrigation and power generation. It’s also called Zhongshan Lake as it is adjacent to the ancient Zhongshan State. It is a scenic spot, with moist climate and fresh air. Whenever the spring and summer come, it is the home of leafy trees, gorgeous flowers and tweedling birds.

Self-driving routes:

Drive along the Zhonghuabei Avenue toward the west section of the North Second Ring Road , detouring right a little;

Head along the west section of the North Second Ring Road and leave from Shiqing Road/Xibaipo/Youyibei Avenue/Taihua Street exits;

Head along the west section of the North Second Ring Road and turn right a little into S301;

Drive along S301 for 14.6 km before entering S232;

Head along S232 into the Fuqiang Road for 590 meters before turning left into the Weiming Road for 120 meters to the Huangbizhuang Reservoir

Bus Routes: take the number 322 bus from the city to the Huangbizhuang Station, and then walk to the Huangbizhuang Reservoir
