Herds of elk walk at Nanhaizi Elk Park in Beijing. Nanhaizi Elk Park is the first elk nature reserve mainly allowing the animals a free-roaming life. With a total area of over 11 sq km, Nanhaizi Park is one of the four largest suburban parks and the largest wetland park in Beijing. It is located in the south of the 5th Ring Road, northeast of Daxing District and between Daxing New Town and Yizhuang New Town.
