The Super Blue Blood Moon was seen in most parts of China during a total lunar eclipse on Wednesday night. Supermoon happens when a full moon approximately coincides with the moon's perigee, or a point in its orbit at which it is closest to Earth. It is also a Blue Moon, as this is the second Full Moon in the month of January. A totally eclipsed Moon usually looks red, and is often called a Blood Moon. It is a rare opportunity to see a red Blue Moon, or a Super Blue Blood Moon.
