HUANG Bin Violinist
HUANG Bin has won the top prize of three major international violin competitions - International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition in Poland, International Violin Competition Premio Paganini in Italy and ARD International Music Competition in Munich, Germany. She has been awarded at over ten international violin competitions.
She began to learn violin at four years old, and obtained Bachelor's degree and artist certificate from Peabody Conservatory of The Johns Hopkins University and the Master's degree and Doctorate in musical arts from Eastman School of Music.
HUANG Bin has been active in the world musical circles. She has ever held concerts in a number of famous concert halls like Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in America, Tokyo Opera City, artistic palace in Belgium and Seoul Arts Center. Upon invitation, she ever participated in music activities in countries and regions such as Russia, Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, Finland, Italy and North Korea as well as Macao. She also performed at the opening ceremony and series of concerts of classical violin concessions by ten celebrated Chinese violinists at NCPA and the concert in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Shanghai Grand Theatre.
As a soloist, HUANG Bin ever worked with many famous orchestras around the world, including China National Symphony Orchestra, Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Macau Chamber Orchestra and the famous symphony orchestras in the United States, Italy, Germany, France, Belgium, Czech Republic, Russia, South Africa, Japan, South Korea and other countries. She will join hands with Beaux Arts Trio and Juilliard and Guarneri String Quartet to give performances at Marlboro Music Festival. Her Fideo Trio has also been toured in the United States, Italy and Canada, etc.
