A: Traveling during the long National Day holidays was really depressing. There were people everywhere, so I wasn't in the mood to enjoy even the prettiest of places.

国庆长假去旅游实在是太郁闷了, 到处都是人。再好的风景我都没心情欣赏了。

(ɡuóqìnɡ chánɡjià qù lǚyóu shízài shì tài yùmèn le, dàochù dōushì rén. zàihǎo de fēnɡjǐnɡ wǒ dōu méi xīnqínɡ xīnshǎnɡ le.)

B: I knew that was going to happen, which is why I avoided the peak period for traveling. I left for a trip on the very last day of the holiday period. Not only were there far fewer people, the plane tickets and hotel prices were cheaper than the past few days.

早料到了, 所以我要错峰出游。我在假期最后一天出发去旅游, 不仅景区的人流大大减少, 而且机票和酒店的价格也比前几天便宜不少。
