"Charm of Beijing in Mid-Autumn, Carnival of Silk Road" closing ceremony of the 19th Beijing International Tourism Festival (BITF 2017) was held on October 4 at the World Chinese Rose Theme Park in Daxing, Beijing.

More than 350 performers from 13 countries including the United States, Germany, Canada and Russia displayed a fantastic performance and showcased an international cultural feast for Chinese and foreign tourists.

Director of Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development Song Yu, Vice Mayor of Daxing District People's Government of Beijing Yang Yanguang, Executive Vice Minister of the Publicity Department of Daxing District Pan Yufeng, Director of Daxing District's Tourism Development Committee of Beijing Yan Shumin, and other leaders of the Daxing World Chinese Rose Theme Park attended the event and presented commemorative trophies to representatives of the performance troupes.

For the past two decades, BITF has made its contribution to establishing the brand image of Beijing as an international city, increasing the visibility of Beijing tourism industry in the international market, and promoting the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei tourism.

This year, BITF has brought together 25 performance troupes from 18 countries and regions around the world, and successfully held many unique international-style performances and theme activities at four venues.

It covers three parallel venues in Shunyi District, Daxing District, and Shijingshan District, and arranges other four thematic activities, including “Touching Beijing with the Disabled” public welfare activity, "Making Your Itinerary in Beijing", "Beijing tourism information desk", “Voting for Your Favorite Scenery in Beijing” activity, and “Bike tour in Beijing” international tourism promotional activity.
