About
According to the Chinense legend, in the ancient time, there are ten suns in the world. One day, they indulgently shine together in the sky, burn all things, and cause great disaster to humans. Under the masses’ expectations, the beauty Chang'e accompanies the archer Houyi, seeking for the goddess Wang Mu who punishes the evil and trying to save the world. Having been through many hardships. they finally obtain divine bow and divine arrow from the Goddess.
In the face of arrogant provocation from the suns, HOU Yi shoots down nine of them. However, the remaining sun hides in the East China Sea, and severe cold shrouds the world. When people pray for gods, they are informed that only when one’s life is offered and sacrificed for gods, can the sun rise again. In order to save Houyi, masses and all sentient beings, Chang'e resolutely plunges into the flame.
The sun rises again, and Chang'e also achieves nirvana and soars in the fire. She cares about Houyi and refuses to leave. Then she rushes into Moon Palace and always stares at the mortal world with her eternal love forever...
