About
As known to all, the story of Titanic is based on a shipwreck. However, the best-known storyline is not the shipwreck itself, but rather the responsibility and great spirit manifested in the process of shipwreck. Taken the theme “Titanic”, this children’s play describes what happens between three cats and a group of mice in face of disaster, which finally helps them become friends from natural enemies. In the form of cartoon, the play elaborates its theme and interpretation of the story.

Synopsis
In order to escape from a wild cat, the family of three mice hurriedly rushes to a ship named “Titanic”. However, the wild cat also chases up to get on board. Thus, a story of the wild cat and mice on Titanic begins. The mice family first meets another group of mice living on the ship. Headed by the mouse Captain Smith, these mice are engaged as boilers, waiters and sailors on the ship, leading a happy life. The wild cat Blake encounters the pet Persian and Garfield. Blake’s heroism, Persian’s pursuit of freedom and Garfield’s arrogance and deceiving behaviour for saving its life is presented to the audience.

Children's Art Theatre of China Welfare Institute
Founded by the honorary chairwoman SOONG Ching-ling on April 10th, 1947, the Children’s Art Theatre of China Welfare Institute is the first professional educational children art troupe of public welfare in China. Over the past 70 years, the theatre has produced more than 390 children's plays with different themes. Classic plays include The Magic Aster (Ma Lan Hua/ Malan Flower), A Young Football Team, Childlike Innocence, White Horse Feifei, Joy of Hardships, Brilliant Sunlight, Joy of Growth, Rainbow, etc.
The Theatre has been active throughout the country, organizing and participating extracurricular children drama activities in communities, schools, and rural areas. The Theatre has also been invited to the United States, Russia, Japan, Germany, Australia, South Korea, etc. In addition, it has held nine sessions of Shanghai International Children’s Theatre Festival, attracting children drama troupes from more than 20 countries and regions..
The Theatre has three children's theatres at present, which are Shanghai Children's Art Theatre, Malan Flower Theatre and V Theatre. The Theatre offers the stage for excellent children plays at home and abroad, and has become an important arena for the visual art experience of children in Shanghai and even the whole country, as well as an important platform for international children's cultural exchange.
