Zhangzizhonglu Station - Nanluoguxiang
Nanluoguxiang is the only completely preserved area that contains hutongs and yards from the Yuan Dynasty. It is the largest and the most resourceful chessboard-type traditional residence in the highest grade. The one of the oldest block in Beijing has the best kept siheyuan area. The south-north alley is about 800m long, with eight hutongs lying on both of its east and west sides.
Currently, instead of being completely transformed into a pedestrian street, it is still a south-north one-way street. Cars can drive through the alley. Since 12 o’clock in the morning, on April 25th, 2016, Nanluoguxiang temporarily stopped receiving tour groups.
