Dongjiao Forest Park

The Dongjiao Forest Park lies in the borders of Tongzhou, Shunyi and Chaoyang Districts, neighbouring Tongzhou New Town in south and the Capital Airport in north, where the airport industrial base and the modern manufacturing base in Shunyi are connected. With a planned area of 89,000 mu, the 1st phase of the park is expected to complete by the end of 2017, and the entire park, by 2020.

Rout completed in 2013: a green bike trail with a total length of 7.7 kilometers runs through the park, starting from Jinyu Road in west, across the lot of plain for afforestation completed in 2013 in north, extending southeastward along the outer woodland of the Wenyu River and ending at the Yingezhuang Bridge.

Grand Canal Forest Park

The Grand Canal Forest Park is located on the banks of in the section of the Grand Canal in north Tongzhou New Town, Beijing, starting from Sitongqiao, 6th Rind Road in north to Wuyaoqiao in south. The riverway has a total length of 8.6 km, the left bank being 8,191 meters long and the right, 3,639. The total construction area of the park is 713 hectares (about 10,700 mu), of which the water surface is about 2500 mu, and green area, about 8,200 mu.

The six scenic areas are scattered on both sides of the river, in which the eighteen sights are distributed.

Medical Fitness Park

At the Terminal Station of Tongzhou Metro Line 6 is the Tongzhou International Medical Treatment Zone. On the Dadi Greenway on southeast side, there is such a pharmaceutical health forest park between the Dongbao Village by the Chaobai River and Houyulinzhuang Village, which covers an area of 3,000 mu. In addition to the traditional evergreen trees and shrubs like the Chinese arbor-vitae, Chinese pine and winter jasmine, a hundred kinds of herbs like mint and honeysuckle are also planted in the park, building an urban forest characterized by medicinal plans that integrates natural ecology and green landscape.
