The Museum of Ethnic Cultures of Minzu University of China
Located on the campus of Minzu University of China, No. 27 Baishiqiao Road, Haidian District, the museum, founded in 1952, is a comprehensive museum of ethnic cultures focusing on teaching and ethnology. With a fine and quiet environment, Minzu University of China is a holy place for excellent Chinese ethnic minority youth to study. The museum is in the central campus with a building area of 1,200 square meters and an exhibition area of 500 square meters. The museum has a collection of over 30,000 items of minority ethnic groups’ cultural relics, literature books, clothing, tools and implements of production in 14 major categories.

Bee Museum of China

The Bee Museum of China is located in the Beijing Botanical Garden in the scenic Xiangshan Park, west of the famous ancient Temple of the Reclining Buddha.
Observation hives: through observation, you can see interesting scenes: glistening honey, bees dancing excitedly on the honeycomb for discovering the source of honey, bees unloading pollen that have returned with harvest and the largest individual bee, the queen, spawning.
Bee fossils: the top treasure of the museum can be appreciated clearly by observers through a magnifying glass, the fossils dating back to about 23 million years ago.
The biological characteristics and social behavior of the three types of bees in the colony: The pictures inform you of the fascinating “mystery” about “the kingdom of bees”: the structure of the colony, their biological characteristics and living habits.
