China Central Television Tower

China Central Television Tower, as the 4A national scenic spot, is a multinational and modern landmark. As one of the member towers of WFGT(World Federation of Great Towers), it ranks the third place of high tower in China and wins the sixth place worldwide. The tower is architectural complex with radios, televisions, sightseeing, catering and entertainment, an important symbol of Beijing’s modernization. Nights-cape lighting of the Tower is also famous and was rewarded the first prize of nights-cape lighting work in capital before. At night, you will find the tower as if a giant lantern hanging high in the sky.

Location: No. 11, Middle Rd. West 3rd Ring Road, Haidin District, Beijing

Transportation: South Hangtianqiao or Bayihu Stations are the nearest station; Debus at Gongzhufen Station by Line 1 and head north for 500 meters.

Chang’an Street

Chang’an Street is the most renowned street in the history of Beijing. In 1420, Emperor Zhu Di chose Beijing as the Capital and built this street running east-west in front of the Forbidden City. The street was once considered as the longest and widest street in China. As one of the most important streets, Chang’an Street boasts the title of the first street of China with a nationally key geographic location.The Tian’anmen and Tian’anmen Square are located here. The Great Hall of the People, Zhongnanhai, Ministry of Public Security, Department of Commerce and other central governmental organizations stand on the two sides.
