The national dance drama HUA Mulan is adapted according to the Chinese folk songs in the Northern dynasties (439-581). It tells the story of a young girl who grows up to a heroic woman. She disguises herself as a man to join the army instead of her father and accomplishes the mission successfully. Also, she pursues love peace and freedom. The dance drama integrates the modern stage technology elements, creating a story line about self-discovery and self-identity.

China National Opera House Symphony Orchestra

China National Opera House Symphony Orchestra is a national opera house subordinate to the Ministry of Culture founded in 1952. It consists of the Song and Dance Troupe, the Chorus and the Symphony Orchestra and the Stage Design Department.

As a famous Chinese symphony orchestra, the China National Opera House Symphony has performed many Chinese and foreign operas.
