In Beijing, Baihe Valley is the most desirable place for rock climber enthusiasts, together with Xishan of Kunming, Yangshuo of Guilin known as the “Top 3 Natural Rock Climbing Places in China”. Baihe River is the largest inflow river of Miyun Reservoir, which incises a valley in 40 kilometers long in Miyun District. Steep cliffs, large areas of beaches and poplar groves, making it an ideal place for climbing, hiking and outdoor camping. With rich mountain resources, steep cliffs, there are hundreds of routes have been developed to climb. Those routes are called with interesting names such as "Good Morning","Cool Day","Perfect Mood" to meet your special needs.

Located in Sihetang Country in Miyun District, “Old Rock Field” is the earliest and most classic natural rock field developed by rock climbers. It is 9.6 kilometers away from Heilongran Scenic Area and 4.5 kilometers from the First Waterfall Resort. The rock field is located in the valley with roads above and baihe river below. The bottom of the valley is also a great place for camping because of the wonderfully soft patches of green grass. It is not only a famous scenic spot for climbing but also ideal place for outdoor swimming, camping, barbecue, fishing and hiking.

By car: Drive along the 111 National Highway, and drive towards east from Wutonghao Crossing, then arrive at Tianxianpu Scenic, close to Baihe Valley.
