Sitting in the office working all day long is not good for your health, but white collar workers do it nearly every day. How can you make it less harmful to you? I do believe that walking outside can ease this awkward condition. If the place where you work near a park, it is much better.
After lunch, you don’t have to return to your office in a robotic routine, staring at the computer monitor or just focusing all your attention on something like a mobile or pad. This is not good for your health either. Instead, you may walk to the park near where you work, although the park may look quite small.
Outside your office building, everything here seems to be so fresh and probably green, and what you see is freshness and what you feel is something natural and beautiful, not like the routine tasks on your computer. It is a change for your stressful brain. What you see is beautiful and what you touch is natural. Although this seems not ideal, it is a remedy for stress.
Or if you bring your mobile phone with you, you might as well take some photos of the flowers, trees or anything that can draw your attention. It is good enjoyment. You may still have lots of things to do in the afternoon, but you become relaxed at the moment.
If lucky, you may meet some friends. Chatting with them for a while seems not a bad idea. You cannot travel 100 miles to the most beautiful scenery of the city before you work again, but you can have a nice time interacting with nature or beautiful things.
When back to the office again, you may have more energy to use to work. This is really good!
