Xishan National Forest Park is the nearest park of its kind to downtown Beijing. Walking down along the stream, fantastic rock peaks and green wave surges filled the eyes. Flowers and lush carpet of green grass and pleasant scenery make it an ideal place for visitors back to the nature and relax their minds. It is a rare scenery type of forest park in Beijing. Favored by a continental monsoon climate, it is home to an abundance of wildlife. Over two hundred and fifty species of plants, 50 species of birds, and 10 different kinds of beasts, amphibians, reptiles and other creatures live in it. In here, we will close the distance with the animals.

Inside the park tourists cannot only climb the mountain and appreciate red leaves, but can view the mountain and the waters. Therefore, it has become a paradise for tourists to return to nature. Climbing to the top is another choice for you to appreciate the beauty. If you have the energy, you can climb to Guixiao Stone at the highest altitude of 503 meters. Facing with the Fragrant Hill, you can have a panorama view of Beijing, Foxiang Pavilion, Yuquan Mountain, Pangu Plaza and CCTV tower can be clearly visible.
