Mangshan Mountain National Forest Park

Mangshan Mountain National Forest Park is located on the east of the Ming Tombs Reservoir in Changping District. As the largest national forest park in Beijing, there is the largest stone Buddha statue in northern China there, greeting visitors from near and far. There is the longest mountain ladder in Beijing, totaling 3,666 steps made of stone slabs. On the two sides, there are lively red leaves. Each year in the autumn, the entire mountain will be covered by red leaves. This mountain is mainly covered by cotinus coggygria, acer truncatum, red maple, oak, persimmon tree and parthenocissus tricuspidata etc. Come here and have a romantic encounter with the autumn.

Baiwang Mountain Forest Park

Baiwang Mountain Forest Park is the closest site for watching red leaves in Beijing. Many kinds of vegetation are planted there, which are rich in negative oxygen ion. Walking in the park, visitors can bask in the forest, but enjoy the beautiful and peaceful environment of the mountain. It is suitable for visitors to climb for all ages with different physical conditions. How to get there: Tourists can take Bus No. 330, special 4, special 5, special 6, 933, and 697 and get off at the Baiwang Mountain station.

Shenglian Mountain is integrated with beautiful scenery features, several limestone caves and some amazing pines and grotesque rocks. There are several Buddhist temples and Daoist temples that tourists are allowed to visit. The mountain is seasonal that vegetation are vertical distribution including temperate broad-leaved forest, hornbeam initiation plexus and thorns brushes. When it falls to autumn, the red leaves will add radiance and beauty with the ancient temples and marvelous peaks.
