Beigong National Forest Park is located by Changxindian Town in Fengtai District. With 1800 mu area of red leaves, its scenery flourishes and presents colorful sights right now. In addition, a water park with southern Chinese features has been built inside the park, which looks very gorgeous with the green mountains as its background. At the park tourists can also pick fruits and vegetables. It has become an ideal place where tourists can enjoy fitness, fruit and vegetable picking, entertainment and leisure.

In addition to the Fragrant Hill, Beigong National Forest Park is the closest site to the downtown for enjoying red leaves with more than 3,000 mu area of red leaves. Unlike other scenic spots, the park not only has red leaves but also other trees colored with yellow, green and purple etc. The red leaves trees include torch, cotinus coggygria, acer truncatum; the yellow ones include ulmuspumilacvjinye, gingko, paraffin; the green ones include weeping willow, Chinese pine, platycladus orientalis, bamboo; and the purple ones as purple-leaf plum and prunus jamasakura etc., which draw a colorful picture for visitors to take in.

The park offers pavilions, passages, halls, pagodas and so on. The attractions at the park include the Fragrant Stream, Little Jiangnan, Maple Road, Birch Ditch and more. Little Jiangnan is the most popular attraction in the park. Walking along the wooden bridge, tourists will see the weeping willows flutter before the wind around the lake. Surrounded by trees with colorful leaves, tourists come here live in harmony with nature.
