Traveling around by subway is now the most convenient way for travelers visiting Beijing, compared with bus and taxi travels. These subway lines don’t only cover areas where more residents live but also places which are meaningful for travelers. You may find several places of interest to visit along each subway line, and there is no exception for Subway Line 15.

1. Tsinghua University

Tsinghua University and Peking University are the most important universities in China most probably because of their academic status and global influence. But they are not only excellent in the academic area but also in its history and beautiful campus scenery. Founded in 1911 as a school, the university is situated around the grounds of a Qing Dynasty-era villa known for its pools and trees, from which the work "Tsinghua" originates.

Now the university has 14 schools, 56 departments, along with many research institutes and laboratories. Of course, the scenery inside is beautiful too. If you take Subway Line 15 to the university, please get off at Tsinghua East Road West (清华东路西口).

2. Olympic Park

Olympic Park is now one of the most visited scenic spots in Beijing for tourists. The most famous buildings inside it are the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube, which were built in 2008 aiming to hold the Olympic Games. Getting off at this station, you can also walk north to the Olympic Forest Park. If you plan to visit the park, you can take Subway Line 15 and get off at the Olympic Park Station (Exit ).

3. Wangjing

Wangjing is a famous community of Beijing located in Chaoyang District, but it is more than a community but more of a small city. Many Chinese and overseas residents live here and there are lots of places of interest in this area such as the Big Wangjing Park and Beijing Jinyu (金隅) South Lake Park. Previously it was difficult for you to visit this area if you stay in the center of Beijing, and today it becomes much easier since you can visit this area by taking Subway Line 15 and getting off at Wangjing Station.
