Duzhong Park is a characteristic park which integrates culture leisure, sightseeing and health care, medicinal plant viewing, popularization of science and health dining etc. Due to 28,000 medicinal eucommia ulmoides (Duzhong) trees in the park, it was named Duzhong Park. Not the same as other city park, most plants in the park not only for sightseeing but also have important mediclinal value. For example, the bark of eucommia ulmoides is particularly valuable in lowering blood pressure and curing insomnia.

Apart from eucommia ulmoides, other medical ornament plants can be found in the park as peony, paeonia lactiflora, rhizoma belamcandae, radix isatidis etc. The park features a tranquil atmosphere and is best for a stroll in autumn. It is divided small garden, small plaza, artificial lake, buting road and plant culture wall for tourists to enjoy the park.
