Jinsha Island, once called Dawanggang, is one small island in the Bohai Sea. It is an arc-shaped island consisted by 11 sandbanks. It looks like a large ship in the Bohai Sea. Jinsha Island is an island who both inside and outside sea.

The wide of the island keep changing due to the tides condition. As a result, the shape of the island is changeable. The soft sand on the island is shining like golden at dusk which is why it gain its name “Jinsha Island” (Golden Island).
