The travel route starts at the south gate of the park in Xinglong County, Hebei Province. There is a main road of good condition which pass the Xianren Tower, a 40-meter high stone tower formed by nature, through 4 main spots of Wuling Scenic Area to the 2118-meter peak.

You can also choose the narrow path on the west of the main road. Sceneries along this path are totally different from the former one. Walk north from Xianren Tower, you can see many potherb and wood berries which is a nature feast for those who know plants well.

Passed the woods, it is a gravel slope that about 200 meters high. The meadow surround by clouds is the top of the slope. Come out from the valley, then you come to the flat camping site with rich water resource. The camping site is big enough to hold 20 camps at a time.

After passing Hukou waterfall, and walking along the wooden path then you can arrive at the west gate of the park. It is always water near you when you choose this route.

Transportation: Take Jingmi Bus at Dongzhimen Station to Miyun, then take car to Caojialu or Dagou Village.

Tips: Wuling Village is near Liushui Valley, so you can rest in a villager’s home if you like. “samp, brain tofu, and finger mutton” is the famous food here.
