Driving towards the north from Tongzhou District, at the junction of Tongzhou and Shunyi, there is a lake surrounded by three parts of sand beaches. Each one covers an area of 1,332 to 2,664 square meters, where is an ideal place for camping, picnic, flying kites and playing with sands etc. Inside of the Dongjiao Wetland Park, the area is named “Baisha Guanlu”. Dongjiao Wetland Park is one of the core areas of Dongjiao Forest Park, which is under construction at present. It across the two districts that north from Jingping Expressway, east to East Sixth Ring Road, west to Fubi Road and south to Zhaixinzhuang. It covers an area of 4724 mu with water surface of over 1350 mu, accounting for about 30% of the entire park.

In the park, there is a Yuling Lake, the first largest lake and Lancui Tower, the first highest point in eastern suburb. Additionally, it also has more than 20 scenic spots in the park including “Linzhong Guanyu”, “Lover Harbor”, “Baisha Gualu”, “Ouxiang Yuehe”, “Qiantang Yuying” etc.

In addition to the beach, there are water and ponds. The river runs through the park, where dotted with roadways, cycling greenways, viewing wooden footway and other leisure facilities. In here, one can go cycling, take a stroll, appreciate flowers and breathe the fresh air, how enjoyable it is!
