The huge resource of classic books in National Museum of Classic Books is based on National Library, and it is a national museum to promote and popularize Chinese culture. It is a comprehensive museum that collect, exhibit, study, protect classic books. The museum not only is the center of collecting Chinese classic books but also a center of classic books exchange worldwide.

Approved by State Commission Office of Public Sectors Reform, National Museum set up in July, 2012 as the firsy museum of classic books in the whole country. It also a museum that has large areas and books in the world.

Located at Zhongguancun Nandajie, Haidian District, the museum covering an area of 11,549 square meters. There are 10 exhibition halls in the museum which provide visitors a spacious place to appreciating the classics.

The tickets to the museum is free but you have to take your certificated of identification with you. What’s more, there is a limitation on the numbers – 2,000/day. If you are in a group more than 20, then you can book the tickets 2 or 3 days earlier by phone or by Internet.
