Maliandao Tea Street

Not far from Beijing West Railway Station there is Maliandao, known as “The First Tea Street in Beijing.” This 1,500-meter-long street is home to over 100 tea shops and 5 tea trade centers, with quality tea from Zhejiang Province, Fujian Province, Anhui Province, Yunnan Province and Guizhou Province- all corners ofaround the country. The tea business here creates an annual sales volume of 2.5 billion Yuan, accounting for 1/10 of the national consumption. Now, Maliandao Tea Street has become the largest tea market in the north part, the largest tea distributing center in north China.

Walking into a tea shop at random, the owner will warmly welcome you. If you haven’t decided which kind of tea to buy, you can have a cup of fragrant tea in the shop and the owner will spend time you to chat about tea. In addition to the tea shops, the street also has other business like B&Q and Carrefour.

Sanlitun Bar Street

Located in the east side of Sanlitun North Road, Chaoyang District, Sanlitun Bar Street is the earliest bar groups in Beijing. Foreigners have become the fixed consumers to the bar street for its adjacent to 79 state of the embassies including Canada, Australia, France, Belgium, Germany etc. In recent years, the white-collars, entertainers, and local and foreign tourists also became frequenters of the bar street. So bar street enjoys good fame, and even some foreign embassies have changed their house numbers to sanlitun bar street.

Wangfujing Walking Street
