The Mo project is proudly announce that we are going to present you with “The Hill of Qi Fu”, the newest work of Chu Bingchao on the 26th of May to the 24th of July 2016.

In late 2015, I went to this remote village Called Qifu village, which is located in the Kongtong Mountain that is next to the Pingliang city in Gansu province. In the north of the Qifu village, there was a natural collapsed slope, and by using my own aesthetic judgment, I have renovated, repaired, and maintained the place to reach the peaceful environment I have pursued. This work has taken us 150days to complete, and we have reconstructed and fixed 5500cubic meters of mountain, planted more than 7000 different kinds of plants, and renamed this “man-made”, “self-designed” mountain “The Hill of QiFu”. The first phase of the work has been already completed, and the second phase is still under preparation. “The Hill of QiFu” is going to be a long-term project of art. “Qifu’s” land and the “mountain crater” that surrounds it are not there-characterization of media, but the direct connection between the nature and our physical body. It’s my way of obtaining the nature, and my way of express my unique artistic conception.
