Yudu Mountain is located in northwest of Yudu Mountain Natural Scenic in Yanqing District, extending over 100 square kilometers. From No.101 national highway, it connects with Yuhai Road. This area is situated in remote mountains that enjoys marvelous scenery and quiet environment.

Yudu Mountain is a beautiful landscape composed of mountains, stones, forest, springs, waterfalls, flowers and grass placed in the quiet and beautiful environment. The reserve is surrounded by mountains and waters with lofty peaks. It has distinct sceneries in different four seasons. The development of Yudu Mountain provides an ideal place for lesuire tourism, scientific investigation and environment protection education.

Located in the upsteam of Longqing Gorge, at the foot of Haituo Moutain, it is a little-known piece of virgin land in Beijing with beautiful scenery. The main area could be divided into 6 scenic areas with 56 sights, which including Gaoxia Pinghu Scenic Spot, Yudu Mountain Scenic Spot, Scenic Area of Stone Buddha Temple, Scenic Area of the Main Peak of Haituo Mountain, Shuangsong Temple Scenic Area and Erlong Mountain Scenic area. Besides, one could also view some historical sites as the former Jade Emperor Temple and Shuangsong Temple etc. The Yudu Mountain is high altitude and has thick plants. The temperature is 3 to 4℃lower than that in Yanqing District, which is the natural summer resort.
