Beijing Deyunshe Theater is located at Tianqiao, which is the birth land of local Beijing folk art. Rebuilt from a building which origninally was the Tianle Theater, Deyunshe Theater covers an area of 1,000 square meters and can receive 300 audiences at same time. Deyunshe Theater mainly performs traditional cross talk, and some Chinese folk art forms.

Beijing Deyunshe Theater was established by Guo Degang who was crosstalk comedian in the mid nineties. It is a performance group with the purpose of developing and expanding national culture, fostering artistic talents and being of service to the people. The artistic level and quality of all of performers receive the praise of audiences in the Beijing and Tianjin area. Standing on the base of a developing national culture, Deyunshe spreads traditional culture and folk arts via theater, and is spearheading a crosstalk revival. Deyunshe Theater opens a new point for Beijing performance market.
