“Moving! Old Beijing” is an exhibition which is focused on “look at the old Beijing and Love the new one”.

Based on the painting - of famous painter Wang Daguan, this exhibition turned the painting of 1930s into a moving picture by using digital technology.

painted by Wang Daguan, shows people’s lives during 1930 and was considerate as an important data to explore the society and people’s condition during that period.

On the 228-meter-long, 3-meters-wide screen, the city wall, temples, houses, restaurants and other buildings are vivid. Scenes like weddings, shopping, playing and other common activities are shown like short videos.

The scale of “Moving, Old Beijing” is much bigger than the Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival on Shanghai World Expo.
